OPENING: Thursday, April 8th from 6-9pm

The Hole is proud to present a thematic group show using our entire space to exhibit over thirty artists. Predominately a still life show, the choice of the French appellation is to open the door to more literal “dead nature” works, works that look at the natural world in 2021 or that even incorporate environmentalist perspectives.

The artists included range from new takes on the traditional still life to paintings of nature in peril. With a few loaned historical works, we will feature a majority of emerging or unknown artists. Painting, drawing, and sculpture are included, and like all our big thematic shows we will be making a catalogue.
