The Hole is very excited to participate in ZONA MACO for the first time, presenting a group booth of young artists working with Surrealist strategies. From the eerily repeated women in Julie Curtiss’ triptych to the naked and screaming women painted by Belgrade-based Maja Djordjevic, the female form is also a through-line. Alex Gardner paints an unsettling but lovely scene of two women pointing, Anja Salonen exhibits a two-sided screen painting and a new canvas of a slumbering boulder lady, while Morgan Blair contributes three new airbrush and pumice works, blurred and abstracted, depicting perhaps some breakdancers and at least one “RAW” wrestler.

We look forward to welcoming you to booth NP 12!
